Step One Hundred and Fifty-Four

Step 154. Review
Review the past week’s practice. Review all the instructions that were given and your practices as well. Consider how deeply you have entered peace. Consider how deeply you have used your mind for investigation. Remember that your practice is a form of giving. Therefore, give yourself to review your practices. See how your giving can become more complete and deeper so that you may receive greater and greater rewards, for yourself and for the world.

In your one long practice period today, review the week of training that has just been completed. Remember not to judge yourself. Remember to be a witness to your learning. Remember that your practice is a form of giving.

Practice 154:

One long practice period.

Here you will find the entire book free for download http://stepstoknowledge.com/

Here you will find pointers for getting started if this is your first encounter with this practice: Taking the Steps to Knowledge.

June 11, 2013 Round One: This review confirms for me that I have reached a deeper level of peace and feel that I am integrating Knowledge more and more into my life. I am also beginning to grasp the true meaning of giving. I feel no anxiety or fear, all is unfolding as it is supposed to. There is something ethereal and very empowering in this state of being. I want to keep practicing, to hold onto it, to delve even deeper and establish a stronger connection with my Source and my True Self.

December 26, 2014 Round Two: My practice is a form of giving. By practicing and dedicating myself to my practice, I am giving of myself to God and to the world. I don’t know how well I have used my mind this week to investigate these things, but I do feel I am integrating what is offered here into my being and my life. My efforts to reclaim Knowledge are not in vain, if my intentions are good I cannot go far wrong. I do not judge myself or the world. I am responding to a call from deep within and doing my best to manifest this calling in the world. Through my skepticism and doubt, the truth still shines through.

P.S. How appropriate to be updating this Step today after attending Day 7 of the 2016 Steps Vigil where Marshall shared some profound wisdom about practice. The words that particularly struck a deep chord with me were: "Practice does not make perfect, practice makes permanent."

P.P.S. And again, another year later, I attended Day 8 of the 2017 Steps Vigil. Marshall continues to share his wisdom with us. Today the words that struck me were, "I am calling you higher up this mountain."
